TEXT TEAM DARE

Co-creation and interaction is at the heart of Dare to Learn. With 60% of the program being participatory, it is only fitting to spread that mindset beyond the main event itself. On top of all the developments from the sharper focus to the new venue, we still don't want to forget our wonderful traditions. All daring enthusiasts and visionaries, let us hear you: The call for actual sessions at the event is open - for everyone!

Why are we opening the call for proposals for everyone? Simply because we believe the best ideas are in the community, not necessarily within our own team. Through an open call, we aim to ensure the variety, quality and freshness of the program. The best practices, newest ideas and proven solutions can be possessed by anyone, from a corporation to a public organization or an individual.

The open call for ideas ensures variety, but we also do it because we believe world is only changed through collaboration. This is an invitation to collaborate on making learning available everywhere and for everyone. Join us changing the world through sharing the best ideas!

We dare you to propose your own ideas! We want to remind you that Dare to Learn is a highly interactive event: we are biased towards bold, participative and creative proposals rather than top-down talks. Dare to propose your wildest and the most creative ideas! Remember to accurately highlight the main focus of your proposal.
THEMES?

It wouldn't be us without a bit of a challenge. Instead of giving out the themes of the year already at this point, the boxes are intentionally left blanc. This is simply for even the bravest and most outrageous ideas to pop up! All you need to know is that the focus is Continuous Learning Beyond Degrees and the names of the three themes are:

VENUE

The main aspect to be taken into consideration is the venue. Different from last year, the event will take place in the amazing locale of Korjaamo Culture Factory in Töölö. There are a number of different rooms and intriguingly unique spaces to play with!

If you are not familiar with Korjaamo or need to refresh your mind, check out their website here. Note that the whole place is all about Dare in September so let your imagination flourish!
