We finally get to share with you some exciting - and kinda relevant - news about this year's event! Where will you find yourself this September? Let's find out!
One of the most distinctive characteristics making Dare to Learn globally unique is the level of participation in our program. Not a conference, seminar or simple set of keynotes but a place for active participation, true connections and fresh inspiration. In the process of sharpening our overall focus to highlight continuous learning beyond degrees, we wanted to clarify also this. Since daring to rethink and take action is what we stand for, that is exactly what we did. Practice what you preach, right?
The first step was to find a location that would give us more intimacy to support participation among visitors and give even more value to our partners. As with the sharper focus, we also wanted to look back to our roots to lift quality over quantity and the experience of an individual. Eventually it was all clear.
We listened to whom matters the most - you.
You gave us feedback and we heard you. While exceptional facilitation was kindly praised after the previous event, acoustical challenges rose to be the number one thing you told us to do something about. And we did. Korjaamo with its volatile spaces gives us more possibilities to play with but also solves the problems we previously had with acoustics - once and for all.
Korjaamo is known as Culture Factory for a reason. The atmospheric venue plays a unique part in nurturing culture, creating experiences and building bridges. As they put it, the place feeds both mind and soul. This is a message Dare to Learn as a festival connects to.
While the rooms of Korjaamo have witnessed a number of phenomenal events, the full capacity of the place is harnessed for the first time ever when the future of continuous learning takes on Töölö this fall.
