Who can participate?
Basically anyone who is eager to learn more about learning and where our world is going in terms of human development. This covers learning professionals from teachers to organizational developers, as well as uni students interested in the topics. Our facilitation methods ensure that different views are a richness.
What does the ticket include?
The ticket includes access to the event venue and participation in the program (e.g. workshops, keynotes and training sessions) for one person for one or two days depending on the type of the ticket. The participants must cover all other costs (e.g. travel, accommodation and food) themselves.
Is the event held in English?
It is multilingual. Speakers and majority of workshop instructions are given in English so that we have doors open to international guests and ideas. In workshops and different intimate discussions language is up to participants. The atmosphere in the event is accepting so broken English works well!
Who is organising Dare to Learn?
Enthusiastic and ambitious group of students who believe in power of learning and want to create something new and needed for this world. Our organization is a non-profit called Sivistyskiihdyttämö ry and it is founded in autumn 2016. Besides our team, we have tens of partners (individuals and organisations) helping us to do this.
You can reach Helsinki by air, bus, train or ship. In Helsinki, the best way to reach our venue Kaapelitehdas is by using public transportation.
