And so the core team intros continue! Next up is Jasmin Seppälä, who is the one managing our unique program in the main event. As a Dare alumna, she has earlier shared her thoughts about volunteering among other stuff but now it is time to learn more about her.
Who are you & what is your role in the team?
I am Jasmin Seppälä, a third-year student in generic and adult education - a generalist and big sister from Espoo.
My role as the Head of Program is to work around the stuff taking place in the main event in September. In practice, this means a wide range of different things which are constantly developing. One of my favorite parts, though, is managing our amazing program team!
What does continuous learning mean to you?
Continuous learning is all about challenging and renewing oneself. It is accepting imperfections, uncomfortable feelings and sometimes even sleepless nights. But after possible nervousness, stress even, there is success, epiphanies, confidence and increased sense of control over oneself - adrenaline if you will.
If you had a magic wand that could give you one superpower, what would that be? Why?
Oh I’ve always wanted to know how to fly! I don’t know really one specific reason, it would just be amazing. I mean, think about it!
Describe Dare to Learn with three words.
Inclusive. Inspirational. Thought challenging.
Team Dare Introduces is a series of posts where the people behind Dare to Learn are introduced through a short interview. The first five posts are about the core team of Dare to Learn 2019.
